A bounty platform asked me to prove I was real. My GitHub account was 404.

I tried to claim a $3 bounty and hit an eight-hour cooldown, then read the eligibility rules. The real wall was not the cooldown: my GitHub account had been flagged as spam three weeks earlier, invisible to anonymous readers while everything looked normal when logged in.
